PREVENTION AT THE POINT OF ENTRY

Purpose:

The first line of defense against spreading COVID-19 and similar viruses is ensuring visitors do not introduce contamination into the facility. Manufacturing Design Solutions provides a no-contact system at the facility’s point of entry to control and reduce contamination from incoming visitors, customers, vendors, and employees by providing all the necessary methods, equipment, and training to protect employees and the facility from the hazards of possible contamination from viruses, germs, bacteria, etc.

PREVENTION AT THE POINT OF ENTRY

 

    1. Visitor enters the lobby.
    2. Welcome/Instruction Video auto ON.
    3. First instruction: sanitize hands.
    4. Temperature check.
    5. Gloves ON.
    6. Baggage sterilization cycle.
    7. Tag information input.
    8. Send an email message of arrival waiting in the lobby to a designated employee.
    9. Place Tag on.
    10. Face Shield on.
    11. Shoe covers on.
    12. Remove baggage from the sterilization chamber.
    13. Visitor ready to enter the facility.

 

In less than 5 minutes all personnel and visitors entering facilities will be processed prior to entry to minimize possible contamination from incoming visitors.

  • Normal temperature.
  • Finalize electronic sign in.
  • Contact visiting personnel.
  • Provide ID Tag.
  • Provide all the necessary PPE: face shield, gloves, and shoe covers.
  • UVC sanitization of all incoming items such as laptops, cases, and purses.
  • Watch a 3 minute video informing all visitors of company policies and regulations that must be practiced during the visit.
  • Automatic sign off.

Visitors are now ready to enter the facility.

Entrance Sequence:

The entrance area or lobby to your facility or office should have minimal equipment: NO logbooks, pens, business cards, furniture, desks etc., to minimize surface areas and the sterilization cleaning cycle time. MAC-19 does all of that and more.

When visitors enter your facility lobby area, NO receptionist is needed. MAC-19 automatically starts by activating the touch screen and begins the welcome and instruction video.

Instructions:

1.Sanitize hands using the auto alcohol dispenser, (P/N 07)

2.Confirm a safe body temperature by placing a hand directly in front of the thermometer, (P/N 02)

DO NOT TOUCH THE MONITOR SURFACE WITH A BARE HAND.

Results display within 0.5 seconds with .01-degree accuracy.

NOTE: If your body temperature is above the safety level, you will be asked to immediately exit the facility and return when body temperature is at safe level.

3.Open Sterilization Chamber Cabinet, (SCC P/N 14) and place your items: laptops, briefcase, purses, etc., that will be brought into the facility for the sterilization cycle. Close the cabinet door and return to completion of your entry sign-in process.

NOTE: MAKE SURE THE DOOR IS COMPLETELY CLOSED TO AVOID UVC EXPOSURE.
4.Put on the protective gloves using the Auto Glove ON (P/N 06) machine. For the left hand, simply rotate your left hand 180 degrees.

5.Using ONLY hands with a protective glove, complete your visitors Name Tag information using the touch screen monitor. When Tag information is complete, press ENTER to print.
NOTE: When you press ENTER, an automated message regarding your presence will be forwarded to your contact.

NOTE: Always keep your name ID Tag on during your visit and do not discard ID Tag until the final sign off.

7.Take one (1) Face Shield (P/N 09F) and remove both protective films.
8.Open the Sterilization Chamber (P/N 08) and select your Face Shield Frame (P/N 09) Connect Face Shield with Frame by snapping all 4 frames pins into the shield holes.

9.Place your foot into the Auto Shoe Cover Dispenser (P/N 12). Repeat.

NOTE: Check that both covers completely cover the shoe.

10.Remove your personal item from the Sterilization Chamber Cabinet after cycle completion.

NOTE: To avoid eye and skin contact, the Sterilization Chamber Cabinet will not open during the sterilization cycle.

11.Always keep all your PPE on during your visit. Follow all safety requirements and regulations to keep you and our employees safe during your visit.

Exit Sequence:

1.Remove Face Shield from the Frame and discard in the Waste Bin (P/N 16).

2.Place Frame into the Sterilization Chamber (P/N 08) and close the cover.

NOTE: Never use an unprotected hand (no glove) to remove used gloves.
UVC Sterilization Cabinet with Consumables Storage (Min – Max Reorder)
Our UVC Sterilization Cabinet serves a dual purpose. The top section’s drawer is equipped with UVC Lamp to sterilize visitor laptops, briefcases, and purses prior to entering the facility.
The bottom drawer is used for MAC-19 consumables items storage, including an additional alcohol dispenser with auto re-charger, so you always have fresh hand sanitizer available.
It holds an additional 1000 auto gloves, 200 additional shoe covers, 250 Face Shields, 12+ additional Frames, 5 rolls of Name Tags, including ½ gal of sanitizing Alcohol.
It is set up per Min – Max Consumables Reorder method so you NEVER run out of needed items.
Each consumable item has its own Bar Code Tag that can be scanned to reorder parts when needed for immediate delivery.

Both the UVC and Consumables Storage areas are coated with copper metal to add additional protection. Copper has natural properties to kill bacteria and germs.
